Some professional milestones

I am a linguist, lecturer and translator with more than ten years involvement in academia and the language business. Born in Switzerland, I completed my Leaving Certificate and Federal Maturity in Zug, Berne and Zurich. I later studied English Linguistics and Literature, European Cultural Studies and Medieval Latin at the University of Zurich and was awarded a Dr. phil. in English Linguistics in 2005. I have published and edited various articles in journals and books and have a wide teaching background in TEFL / DAF, applied linguistics, translation studies, stylistics and discourse analysis.
